Back-to-School Webinar: How Do We Address the Vaping Crisis in Schools

This webinar, hosted by Tobacco Prevention and Cessation with the Indiana Department of Health, will identify resources and strategies for Indiana school staff, including administrators, teachers and health services staff, who are working to address the use of tobacco products, especially e-cigarettes in schools.

At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Adopt comprehensive school tobacco free grounds policies that include emerging products
• Use non-punitive policies that support treatment and offer an alternative to suspension
• Incorporate educational initiatives that can help prevent youth from using tobacco products
• Adopt educational and treatment strategies to help youth quit tobacco products
